Wine Route in Valle de Guadalupe, Baja California, offers a varied and extensive landscape dotted with productive vineyards.

Along the Wine Route the local wine makers have created a wide range of wines: reds, pinks and whites, and excellent gourmet artisanal wines that you can enjoy in any of the best restaurants in the region.

The Harvest Festival
Annually wine makers of Valle de Guadalupe celebrate the Fiestas de La Vendimia to enhance the culture of wine.

This Festival of the Grape is held during 17 days of August.

Among the events included are: wine and food pairings competitions, wine fiestas, culinary delights, paella contest, wine tasting, wine tours, dancing and live concerts.

Location of the Wine Route
The Wine Route, or Ruta del Vino, crosses the Valle de Guadalupe from end to end on the road 3. The route starts in San Antonio de Las Minas, a town located a few miles north of the city of Ensenada, and ends in Francisco Zarco, south of Tecate. These two communities, plus El Porvenir, are the main villages in this Mexican Wine Country.
