Shining Orange
the Painting

Shining Orange the painting, is one of several art works that I created to form my collection of surrealist art.

When I painted this piece my wife and I lived in a place with lots of lush vegetation in central Mexico. There were many orange trees. Then I had the idea of painting an orange in each of the paintings of this collection.

An orange would thus be the main character of my paintings. Oranges would be the symbol of the creative power of nature. And also of truth and justice.

Consequently, in "Shining Orange" the aforementioned fruit plays an important role surrounded by aggressive characters, by Nature, and by a female figure in the background.

Each of these symbolic forms can be interpreted by the viewer, who will be able to judge according to their intimate experience.
